NWAS clinical leadership structure offers a great opportunity to advance your clinical career.  The role of the Senior Paramedic is the first rung on a clinical career ladder that could take you all the way to consultant. The role requires drive, determination and clinical excellence to succeed as a Senior Paramedic.
The role seeks to maintain and develop the delivery of excellent patient care with an emphasis on clinical management, education and support. Working as part of a crew or as a solo responder, you will be required to attend urgent and critical emergency situations in a variety of environments, ranging from urban to remote rural areas. Using your advanced clinical skills you will lead the assessment of patients and administer essential care in high-pressure situations. As a natural communicator, with a talent for leadership, you will support the continual development of excellent clinical standards across the Trust by managing, supporting, developing and appraising a team.

Candidates must be a qualified paramedic registered with the HCPC. You will also need to have evidence of CPD. You must be willing to undertake a BSc in Health Care Practice which will be funded by the Trust. Salary: Band 6 - Plus up to 25% unsociable hours payments
